Currently, PBS students score an average of 24 on the ACT, which is above the state average of 20.1 and the national average of 21.1.
What foreign languages are offered at PBS?
Students are exposed to either French or Spanish in elementary and middle school. In high school, students can choose between French, Spanish and Latin.
Does PBS offer accelerated academic programs?
Honors courses are offered at all levels of English, math and science. Advanced placement (AP) courses are currently offered in English, Chemistry, American History and Calculus.

In which academic competitions do PBS students participate?
Parkview students are regularly selected to participate in the esteemed district and state literary rallies. Many are honored through the National Merit Scholarship Corporation. The elementary school hosts the annual ACSI District Spelling Bee and Math Olympics, as well as the National Geographic Geography Bee.
In which athletic district does PBS compete?
PBS is a member of the Louisiana High School Athletic Association (LHSAA), Tara High School District, and competes in district 8-3A.
